ive been with this guy for 5 years. he cheated once..kissed a girl when we were 16 lol, we got over that. it was stupid. but, myspace....he has some friends on there that are girls and he knows them from high school (not the same girl).he writes to one or 2 of them once every few months...nothing huge but he leaves pic comments like "man you look really pretty here" and it bothers me. i asked him about it and he said they are just his friends. i have no reason or proof to prove other wise...and he does "flirt" by nature. all the men in his family are just nice....they dont do anything but they do give complements and stuff. sooo i dont know what to do. and its funny cause sometimes he'll ask them if they want to hang out or something (the way he writes it, it seems like friends...but the whole telling them theyr pretty throws me off) they never respond or if they do its a kind of unsure answer. what should i do? believe him?? i need help please!!!!

You've been together for 5 years, he's cheated on you once, he's repented, and he doesn't stay in contact with the girl he cheated with. I don't think you have anything to worry about.
Guys should be allowed to comment to their lady friends that they think they're pretty, just so long as they CONTINUE to tell you how pretty YOU are significantly MORE. *lol*

well i do have myspace and yea people just say stuff like that its just politness i wouldnt get so worked up over it if he was saying stuff like thats hot "babe" or pet names like that then id get a bit wary over it

Anything that makes you uncomfortable should be addressed. Here's the simple answer: While he doesn't think it's anything and he may be trustworthy you have no idea what the other girls are thinking. They could take this as an invitation or simply think he is flirting with them (as most girls would).. this relects badly on you. You should simply point out to him that it makes you uncomfortable and that it reflects badly on him and you and ask him to stop.
Listen.. this may be innocent but you'd be surprised at how many innocent things started something that wasn't so innocent. Nip it in the bud now.
